The event began with opening remarks from the Finnish Ministry of Science & Innovation, NATO Defence Industry representatives, and DIANA. These discussions emphasised a shared goal: to adopt new technologies and innovations significantly faster across NATO.

NATO members, national executives, technology leaders, and SMEs came together to explore Finland’s role in NATO’s innovation agenda, laying the foundations for future connectivity and evolving cooperation across the defence ecosystem.

AI, Data & Communications

Key discussions focused on next-generation communications, resilient networks, and the Finnish Defence Forces’ Data & AI Strategy, supported by a live demonstration from the newly established AI Agency Centre of Excellence.
